The pull-away hesitation — what actually fixed it for me

Two weeks of feeling like the last car off the line at every robot. Eco mode + Auto Hold engaged + a touch of throttle a half-second early — genuinely fixed it, not just "you get used to it." Writing it up since it comes up constantly.

What solved it

Ten thousand km in and this is exactly what worked. Also — Auto Hold needs firmer brake pressure than feels natural to actually arm. A light stop sometimes just doesn't engage it, which reads as "not working" when it's really just not on.

Some of us just shift to Neutral at longer stops instead — no science behind it beyond not wanting to hold the transmission in Drive against the brake for a full robot cycle. Both approaches seem to work fine.

One thing worth knowing: with Auto Hold on, opening the door with the engine running auto-applies the handbrake. Tested it in an empty parking lot before trusting it at the boot on a real trip — recommend the same.
