  1. KO2s in stock size on the Odyssey for eight months including two Cederberg trips. Short answer: transformed on gravel, a touch more roar on tar from 110. No clearance issues in stock size — resist the urge to go up a size on a DCT drivetrain.

  2. Same clunk at 9 200 km. Your timeline matches mine almost exactly — the dealer replaced the rear bushings under warranty once I quoted the service book page you posted. Thank you for writing it up.

  3. Fitted mine this weekend using your spacer note — perfect. The T-series is too new for model-specific kits, so the universal feet + spacer is the current answer. Torque check after the first gravel day, always.

  4. My carrier covered a Cederberg recovery without a murmur — the wording that matters is "private off-road use excluding competitive events". Get it in writing before the trip, not after.

  5. Stayed in March — ask for the rondavels on the east side, the west block shares a wall with the generator. The Mission shop bakes bread at 06:00 and it does not last.

  6. Ten thousand km in and this is exactly what worked. Also — Auto Hold needs firmer brake pressure than feels natural to actually arm. A light stop sometimes just doesn't engage it, which reads as "not working" when it's really just not on.

  7. Confirmed — asked for the swap before my first Baviaanskloof run and it was done free of charge, five minutes at the service desk. Test the full circuit (indicators, brakes) before you actually load a trailer, not just that it clicks in.

  8. Reserved · first run report

No member has written up a run yet. The Cederberg Winter Convoy (12 → 13 Oct 2026) is already full — if you're on it, send the chapter lead what actually happened and this becomes the club's first one.

Tell yours.

Members will write their own here once the register goes live. Until then, tell a chapter lead on a run and it gets written up with you.
