Telli

Independent, and honest about it.

Telli is a small independent app made in South Africa for people who drive a Jetour T1 or T2 here. It exists because owners kept asking the same questions in group chats: what is this light, how do I update the software, which mode for sand.

Not the carmaker

Telli is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Jetour or any car manufacturer. The car's name appears only to say which cars Telli is written for. All text and drawings, including every warning-light symbol, are our own; nothing is copied from a manual.

Sources and accuracy

Figures such as sizes, towing, warranty and drive modes come from Jetour South Africa's published specifications, and otherwise from at least two South African motoring publications that agree. How-to steps are written in our own words from public reviews and from patterns in owners' questions, never copied from a manual.

Anything we have not yet confirmed on a South African car is marked “Check on your car” in the app, so you always know what to double-check. Specifications can change by model year, trim and market, so your owner's manual, service book and dealer always come first.

Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will fix it in an update.

South Africa only, for now

Cars, menus and equipment differ by country. Telli is written for the 2025 and 2026 T1 and T2 sold in South Africa, petrol and i-DM plug-in hybrid, in South African English: tyres, bonnets and kilometres. Other countries may follow later.

Private by design

No account, no ads, no tracking. The app works offline and Ask Telli runs on your iPhone. Read the privacy policy.

Safety first

Telli is general guidance. If a warning light worries you, stop safely and contact your dealer. In an emergency, call 112 from a mobile phone.
