What it means
The engine computer has found a fault. If it stays steady, book a check. If it flashes, the engine may be misfiring and could be damaged.
What to do
- Steady: drive gently and book a dealer visit soon.
- Flashing: reduce speed, avoid hard acceleration, stop safely and get advice.
- Check the fuel cap is tight.
