The engine coolant may be too hot. Driving on can badly damage the engine.
What to do
- Slow down and pull over somewhere safe.
- Switch the engine off.
- Wait until it has cooled fully before opening the bonnet.
- Call your dealer or roadside help. Do not drive on.
